PADI Rescue Diver Course

Rewarding and fun best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course gives you valuable hands-on experience in emergency management. You’ll learn self rescues, perform diver assists and rescues, manage dive accident situations and render first aid.

These are the skills that can make all the difference in the unlikely event of an underwater emergency. Although challenging, many divers say this is the best course they've ever undertaken.

Course Structure - Local: $599


This course is conducted over two weeknights and one weekend. The first two nights typically start at 6pm and involve classroom work and confined water training. This portion of the course is conducted here at Dive HQ Christchurch. The open water dives will take place in Wainui (Akaroa) or Lake Coleridge depending on weather and includes 4 dives spread over 2 days.

Includes:
Manuals / Certification / Slate Complimentary transport Dive Cylinders and Air 4 Open Water Dives

Requirements:
Medical form to be completed by doctor
Read and Sign Dive HQ Christchurch Disclosure course agreement form
Have dive gear (except cylinders) or hire from us at $100 (Refundable against package if purchased in store within one month)
Have own pocket mask, safety sausage and torch.
Have completed the Navigation Adventure dive Minimum of 20 logged dives

We recommend personal equipment to include:

Safety Sausage or SMB
Dive alert service
Redundant air systems if you entertain any form of solo diving!
